Samaritan Well-Being Center's STRATEGIES 4 is a dynamic 8-week program designed to help you examine
how and why your lifestyle choices affect the way you look and feel. With its unique focus on the whole
person, STRATEGIES 4 helps you recognize the connection between behavior, nutrition, exercise and spirituality.
Fortified with knowledge, and with practical tips on how to set realistic goals, you will be better prepared
to live, eat move and be well in your everyday life.
STRATEGY 1 - Living
The STRATEGIES 4 counseling professional helps you understand why you make certain lifestyle choices.
Nurturing self-acceptance and self esteem are at the heart of the sessions.
STRATEGY 2 - Eating
Our registered dietitian gives you the knowledge and skills you need to choose healthy foods. Go on a grocery shopping tour and learn how to prepare quick, easy, and flavorful meals.
STRATEGY 3 - Moving
The team's exercise physiologist measures your fitness level and shows you how easy it is to work physical activity into your everyday life and offers an 8-week exercise program.
STRATEGY 4 - Being
Our registered nurse and healing touch experts explore the importance of seeking balance in mind, body and spirit. She shows you how to find your own "place of spirit."
